The red Mencia grape thrives in Spain`s north west corner, in this case giving a style of wine that has vibrancy of fresh fruits allied with gentle, silky textures. Deep ruby-purple colour, aromas are crunchy with attractive notes of ripe red cherries. Palate is full and bright, having an excellent juicy core, rounded tannins and a pleasureable, supple finish.
