Pascal Reverdy, now assisted by his son Victorien, produces an ultra-precise, concentrated Sancerre. The same strata of Kimmeridgian chalk that gives Chablis its classic zip surfaces in the Reverdy`s village, Maimbray – hence this wine`s raciness and stony finish, even in a sunny vintage like 2022. Very pale lemon-green colour, aromas are intense and scented, with notes of cut lime and elderflower. The palate is light bodied and lively, having richness of fruit, chalky minerality and an attractive, silky texture. The finish is long and fresh.
