2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Dix Climats, Domaine Drouhin-Laroze

I have tasted this wine several times this week, and it is a delicious creation. Layered, smooth, superbly accurate and relatively forward, but it has made the grade today because it ticks the final QP box – the price at HH&C is the most competitive I have found this week, and so the value element is firmly in place, too. I like the whole Drouhin-Laroze range in 2021, and Dix Climats manages to capture the heart and soul of the Domaine at a very fair price indeed. 17.5/20
