Description

Domaine de Forétal is located in the village of Vauxrenard, up in the hills above Juliénas. Jean-Yves Perraud is at the helm here, making pure styles of Gamay from family-owned vineyards. This Juliénas comes from 45-year-old vines and has a glistening, ruby-purple colour. The nose is attractively floral and lifted, with ripe raspberry and red cherry fruitiness. Palate is medium bodied and fleshy, having a concentrated core of crunchy fruit and a clean, rounded finish.
